The hotel is ideally situated for city strolls, with a few great spots like Captain George's Seafood Restaurant just about a 10-minute walk away and the lovely Dare County Recreation Department close by for parks and outdoor fun. Plus, the management was friendly and promptly fixed a minor issue with the room door to ensure a better stay.

It was right oof the highway and near highway.

Being near highway was a bonus.

The staff was accommodating and friendly.

Property was good looking and quirky, we loved this place.

Fine saltwater pool!

It is well-located on the Outer Banks for accessibility to all the various activities, interests, and places. Additionally, it is very clean and well kept. When I stayed as a guest (October/2012), everything seemed to have been recently refurbished. There was a new wooden deck/walkway on the building. The staff were all very polite and extremely helpful. The entire aura of the place was extremely appealing to me. In fact, when I was checking out, I told the front desk manager that I thought that I had found the new home-away-from-home for my family's future vacations to the Outer Banks. I highly recommend the Outer Banks Inn.

This is a small clean hotel providing immaculate rooms. It is set near expressway.

The staff was friendly. The room had a cozy beach-themed decor and was perfectly clean. The saltwater pool was a highlight. It was refreshing and a nice escape after a day at the beach.

The towels were a bit thin.

Loved the place, great looking and quaint for vacation. The staff were constantly top-class. We had a real good stay and strongly recommend it to others.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and close to great restaurants. The saltwater pool was a perfect escape, especially after a day in the sun. It stayed open late, a nice bonus. The cleanliness of my room was excellent. The beach-themed decor. I appreciated the free guest laundry. It made things much easier for my family. I had to carry our bags up four flights of stairs, and that was a bit of a workout. Some of the towels felt a bit worn, a minor inconvenience. All in all, the friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere made up for the few issues I encountered. I'd recommend this place for a beach getaway.

A small but very friendly Hotel. Well worth looking at when booking a hotel at the Outer Banks. Extremly friendly staff, good breakfast (free). Excellent value for money.

Amenities like washer/dryer were unexpected. Nice quick breakfast. Clean room and great location.
